The "2022 Future Technology Award" hosted by the National Science Council has awarded six teams from National Chung Hsing University, ranking fifth in the country.
The "2022 Future Technology Award" hosted by the National Science Council held its award ceremony on October 15th. This year, National Chung Hsing University has won six awards, ranking fifth in the country. The winning technologies cover two major areas: sustainable green energy and advanced materials, and AIot intelligent application, with forward-looking scientific and technological applications with industrial application value. The winning team's technology introductions are as follows:
Professor Wu Weide, Professor Wang Junyan, Professor Lin Mingze of the Institute of Precision Engineering, Associate Professor Cai Minghong of the Department of Materials Science, and Associate Professor Lin Hongmao of the Department of Material Science at National Nanke University of Science and Technology have developed "Innovative Green Process for Efficient Dechlorination Reduction." Thermal reduction of chlorinated waste is currently the internationally recognized most cost-effective and efficient dechlorination reduction of waste. After years of research, this team has successfully developed an innovative green process for efficient dechlorination reduction and has overcome the risks and problems that may be caused by the three main dechlorination reduction processes. One steel mill in Taiwan has implemented this technology and has achieved the pioneering results of no dechlorination reduction byproducts in electric furnace smelting.
Professor Lin Yaodong, Professor Huang Zhenwen, Associate Professor Xue Hanyu, and Professor Wong Chi-hwang of the Department of Civil Engineering at National Chiayi University have developed "Intelligent Environmentally-Friendly Multifunctional Membrane
